Four days will quickly steep themselves in night;
Four nights will quickly dream away the time;
And then the moon, like to a silver bow
New-bent in heaven, shall behold the night
Of our solemnities.

The play is said to be set in Ancient Athens with England Renaissance culture present(because it's a Shakespeare play). So I tried to combine elements of the two. [link] [link] [link] [link] [link] [link] [link] [link]

Hi partner! I chose this lovely drawing to critique! Firstly, you have great variety and unity in this peice from scale to color! The hair leads us into the drawing from the bottom up. You definitely know the mediums that you're working with well and the blending of the markers and colored pencils is seamless. The woman's face is in what looks like good proportions in comparison to the size of her head and her features match up as well ^ ^

While there's a lot of great stuff happening with her hair, the upper portion of the drawing has no movement so the eye gets stuck there. You have a slight halo around the waxing and waning moons, if that was carried in a light arc around her head following the moons,it would help carry the viewer through that part of the drawing and back down.Also, the little fir trees on her head need a slight punch on color to give them volume. A saturated green with a bit of red mixed in it, or even a violet would bring out that really great soft yellow glow on the left side of them and give them more believable volume (the sane kind you've got on the woman's face). I also think that the owls in the lower most portion could pick up that same color punch just to give a stronger sense of the light source coming down because it is seperate from the pattern in her hair =) One great artist I think you should look at is Gustav Klimt. His paintings used the same kind of heavy flat patterning along with a natural depiction of a human ^ ^
